Mirador - How it worksMirador does an agreement for each case. Our clients start by having a service agreement in place with Mirador that describes the terms and conditions of our service. As a case arises, the customer contacts us by phone, fax or e-mail. Mirador then collects the relevant facts and initiates a dialogue with the applicable health care provider. Mirador uses a variety of pricing methodologies in its effort to capture the best rate for the presenting health care services. Any of the pricing methodologies used will typically include discounted rates for hospital, physician and ancillary services. The dialogue with the provider culminates in a written agreement that sets forth the rates and terms for the care to be rendered. Mirador then arranges for the health care claims to be repriced, consistent with HIPAA and at turnaround times consistent with the terms of the agreement for that case.

Mirador completes the case-specific agreement as quickly as possible. This service is our focus; it receives our priority and you get the attention you need. The faster we get a case assigned to us, the better we are positioned to affect the best result for our client.

Mirador keeps its clients informed; communicating not only the results of negotiations, but also the progress being made as the negotiations unfold and the documents are being prepared. Agreements are completed as soon as terms can be reached and a document can be created and signed by the health care provider and the payor. Repriced claims are forwarded to payor or its agent within the timeframes established for that client.
